This year, we celebrate the Ibsen Museum’s 100th anniversary.
The museum opened as early as in 1916, ten years after Ibsen's death, and is the country’s oldest of its kind. It is located in Ibsenhuset where Henrik Ibsen worked as an apothecary's assistant, and where he wrote his very first play Catilina.
Exciting guided tours, lectures, and programmes for schools are available.
A warm welcome to all our visitors!
